There is a huge fight card taking place Stateside on Saturday, and the WBC interim super lightweight title fight between Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz and Lamont Roach is the headline bout.
This clash will be Cruz's first defence of the WBC's interim 140lb belt after beating Omar Salcido Gamez to be crowned champion in July.
Roach on the other hand arrives in San Antonio on the back of a controversial draw with Gervonta Davis. While Roach in the eyes of many should be the WBA lightweight titleholder, he has had enough of waiting for a rematch against Davis.
Instead, he continues to pursue a world title opportunity and a win over Cruz would put him in prime position to challenge the WBC's full champion, Subriel Matias, whose upcoming bout with Dalton Smith is under review after he returned a positive PED test.
DAZN News has everything you need to know ahead of Cruz vs. Roach.
Cruz vs. Roach will take place on Saturday, December 6 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Although Isaac Cruz's unrelenting pressure will get to Lamont Roach Jr. at times, expect the latter to stand up to that forward-fighting force enough to tame 'Pitbull' via points.
As Roach demonstrated against Gervonta 'Tank' Davis, he can use his sweet science skills and mix it up inside effectively when necessary. This would mark a solid victory to close out the year after his controversial draw back in March.
