David Benavidez includes legendary heavyweight with 44 knockouts when building his ultimate boxer

David Benavidez has a huge opportunity tomorrow as he looks to prove his credentials at light-heavyweight against Anthony Yarde. 

The Arizona man will defend his WBC crown and victory against the Brit could land him a huge showdown in 2026 against either Artur Beterbeiv or division ruler, Dmitry Bivol. 

Benavidez has long wanted to test himself against the biggest names in the sport, but that can only happen with an impressive win against Yarde.

Benavidez was asked for various attributes to design a destructive fighter and when it came to power, he did not hesitate to use Mike Tyson in that category. 

The former heavyweight champion was one of boxing’s most dominant punchers when he reigned over the sport, and Benavidez selecting him will not get many arguments.
