David Benavidez is arguably the fighter who will be next in line to tackle Canelo Alvarez if the Mexican fighter chooses to remain at super-middlweight after unifying every belt against Caleb Plant on November 6th.
Benavidez has tasted world glory before but his reign ended when he failed to make weight against Alexis Angulo in 2020. The Arizona man would relish the chance to win his belt back against Canelo but first he must focus on Kyrone Davis.
The main card is set to get underway at 9 p.m. ET / 1 a.m. GMT with the main event ringwalks scheduled for 12 a.m. ET / 4 a.m. GMT. As ever with a live fight night, these timings are subject to change depending on the length of the undercard fights.
The fight will be shown on Showtime in the US.
The fight takes place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
