Jake Paul offers update on potential Conor McGregor fight

Jake Paul has shut down any possibilities of facing Conor McGregor in a fight in the near future. 

Paul returned to winning ways on Saturday night when he beat Nate Diaz via a unaminous decision in Dallas.

While Diaz did cause a few problems for Paul, it was "The Problem Child" who dominated and even managed to produce a knockdown in the fifth. 

Following the victory, a number of names have been mentioned as possible future opponents for Paul including McGregor, but 'The Problem Child' was quick to dismiss a potential meeting with the Irishman. 

"I don't care about that guy [Conor McGregor]," Paul stated at the post fight press conference.

"He needs to go to rehab. I want Nate in MMA. I want more professional boxers and I want Canelo."

Instead, a rematch with Diaz could be next for Paul, but instead of taking place in a boxing ring, there is a chance it could be staged inside a cage after the 26-year-old received a $10m offer to make his MMA debut.
