DAZN Schedule 2026 New

Where is the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight?

The fight is set to be held at  Kaseya Center , in Miami , United States

Formerly known as the American Airlines Arena, the 20,000-capacity venue was previously due to host Paul's bout with 'Tank' before it was torpedoed.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua prediction

This fight really should be the easiest night of Anthony Joshua's career and the most humbling of Jake Paul's

Assessing the careers of both men, Joshua's run at heavyweight had displayed skill, power, speed, and brutality, and although there have been a few wobbles along the way, they have usually came against elite operators.

Paul's record contains a loss against Tommy Fury and that type of form does not bode well when facing a top five heavyweight contender who heads into the fight holding every single advantage.

This should be over in one round. If Paul is still in there after three then regardless of how the fight ends, Joshua's grand plans for 2026 may need to be re-examined.

What are the rules for Paul vs Joshua?

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua's bout will take place at heavyweight  across  eight three-minute  rounds with both fighters using  10oz gloves  for the duration of the contest.

It follows similar rules to Paul's bout with Mike Tyson in November 2024, where the pair contested eight two-minute rounds, albeit with heavier 14oz gloves instead.

It marks the first time Joshua has contested less than ten rounds since his win over Raphael Zumbano Love in 2015, in what was his twelfth professional bout at the time.

Is Paul-Joshua a professional fight?

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua's bout is a professional bout, with the clash and its subsequent result set to count on their full fight records when the dust settles afterwards.

Paul currently holds a 12-1 record in the ring, but would not have extended his reputation with his clash against 'Tank', which was due to be held as an exhibition bout.

Joshua meanwhile is at 28-4, with his loss to Dubois coming after defeats to Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oleksandr Usyk - twice - across his career thus far.

Paul vs Joshua fight week schedule

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua will be undertaking plenty of fight week events in Miami as the hype to Friday night builds.

Thursday, December 18

  • Weigh-in: 6pm ET, 3pm PT, 11pm GMT

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua - what's been said?

Jake Paul, as always, is in confident mood of causing a huge upset on Friday night, believing he is actually the better fighter.

"On paper the cards are stacked against me. But in actual boxing terms I am a better boxer than AJ.

"He's got two left feet, he's stiff. If I was his coach I'd put him in a dance class first before trying to box. I've brought in the right sparring partners to get me ready for what I will face.

"I'm ready to show my skills and get the job done."

For AJ it is about putting on a show: "People are going to say wow what a event. He's going to come up against someone who has been perfecting his style for 18 years. Jake is still trying to perfect his boxing style, I respect it.

"He's coming up against someone that has been doing what he is doing for that much longer. He is not on my level. That is clear. It is not that he can't compete, he just doesn't have the body of work I have."

Paul gives behind-the-scenes access to his training camp

As the build-up intensifies for what will be the biggest fight of his career, Paul has released a video on his YouTube channel giving a behind-the-scenes look at his training camp.

It was recently revealed that he faced the likes of Lawrence Okolie and Jared Anderson in sparring, with Okolie giving 'The Problem Child' a black eye
