Rodriguez vs Martinez prediction and analysis

Chris Oliver, DAZN News boxing writer

On a stellar card of excellent matchups, this could be the best and most entertaining of them all.

Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez’s hitlist reads like who’s who of the lower weights and he can claim another big scalp here in the shape of fellow super flyweight champion Fernando Martínez.

Both men are unbeaten and bring power, precision and a huge will to win to the party, but Rodriguez could just have the edge in speed and ring IQ.

In what should be a highly entertaining bout with plenty of back-and-forth action, Rodriguez can slowly break his man down and register another stoppage, possibly somewhere after the halfway mark.

Rodriguez vs Martinez odds

Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez is 1/11 to win on Saturday night, with Martinez 6/1 to gain the victory. Bam to win by knockout is 2/5, with Martinez in the same method 12/1. To win on points, Rodriguez is 23/10, Martinez 16/1 with DAZN Bet.

To win

  • Jesse Rodriguez: 1/11
  • Fernando Martinez: 6/1
  • Draw: 25/1
