Former major UFC superstar to make boxing debut on huge Belfast stadium show
Molly McCann will make her professional boxing debut on September 13 as she will receive big exposure on a huge stadium show in August, live on DAZN.
Windsor Park will host Paddy Donovan’s rematch with Lewis Crocker, and the IBF welterweight belt will be on the line as the bitter rivals clash again .
Earlier this year, Donovan produced one of the best performances of his career, but he was disqualified for hitting Crocker after the bell.
The result marred a great showing from the Limerick man, but both now have the chance to put it right with a great prize on the line for the winner.
On a stacked undercard that features Pat Brown and Ishmael Davis, there will also be a maiden appearance for McCann who announced her switch to boxing July 2025 .
The former UFC star, one of the sport’s most popular names, earned herself a terrific reputation for often delivering high quality fights and her never say die attitude.
McCann is now 35 and she is very aware that she will need to make a quick impact in boxing if she wants to compete for world titles.
The Liverpool fighter is eager to get fast-tracked to world level and her journey will begin in September on a major event for Irish boxing.
