Daniel Dubois has vowed to take revenge for his controversial loss to Oleksandr Usyk two years ago at a testy press conference that saw the latter heckled from the crowd.

The Briton, the IBF title holder, will challenge the Ukrainian in pursuit of his WBA, WBC and WBO titles at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, July 19 live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.

Not only will Dubois have the opportunity to become the first four-belt undisputed champion on home soil, he will have the chance to atone for defeat in August 2023 in Poland.

There, Usyk was dropped in the fifth round by his rival, only for the hit to be ruled as a low blow, with the star subsequently recovering to deliver a ninth-round stoppage victory.

Asked if he still believes he was robbed of the win at Stadion Wroclaw, Dubois affirmed that he believed he was, but insisted he would correct the result when they meet again.

"Yeah [I still feel cheated]," he said at Tuesday's press conference. "But it is in the past. I get a chance to put that wrong right. There's a lot of s— being talked right now.

"But I cannot wait to put him to sleep on the night. I think I'm on fire now. I'm on fire and I'm just ready to go. It's going to be a bloodbath.

"I'm going to put all the controversy to rest, and show that I'm the man of the future. I just know that on the night in the ring, he'll be doing a funny dance when I hit him.

"We don't care about no body shots, but we're going to knock him out on the 19th."

Usyk, who in a repeat of his stunt ahead of his rematch with Tyson Fury, asked Dubois and promoter Frank Warren to sign photos of their first fight, digressed frequently in turn.

The star was heckled by George Fox, son of Dubois' trainer Don Charles, after an interaction the previous day where the Ukrainian said he was ready for a "street fight."

"I don't think about these people, because it is just talking," Usyk said when addressed on the controversy surrounding his first victory against Dubois.

"A lot of people told me I would not take heavyweight belts, I would not take four belts. I said we'll see. For me, it doesn't matter. It's my road. I'm ready right now [to fight]."

Charles meanwhile launched a diatribe against Usyk's horesplay at the conference, suggesting he had cheated in his first bout by play-acting the low blow call.

"As a boxing coach, I have a lot of respect for you as a figher," he addressed the start. "What you've achieved is remarkable.

"But it disappoints me that you can actually stoop as low as to bring those types of photographs with you. Why don't you print the actual shot that had you trembling.

"The acting you did that night, they should be giving you an Oscar, for the performance. You conned the referee, you conned us, you conned the boxing world.

"You pride yourself as a God-fearing man, so I want to question what kind of god you worship, period. You can look at me as much as you want.

"The way it works is that the god has summoned you to come back here for our son Daniel Dubois to get revenge on you."

Usyk, who was pushed by his rival in a Monday face-off too, quipped in response: "You're right, I deserve an Oscar. You must teach your fighter to punch clean."
