Garner gives one reason why he is unconcerned by Bellotti record ahead of domestic blockbuster

Ryan Garner believes Reece Bellotti's string of lower-division losses means nothing against his unbeaten record, but stresses he will be "the better fighter" on Saturday.

The pair dance for the British, Commonwealth and European super feathweight titles in a domestic blockbuster at  Bournemouth International Centre, live only on DAZN .

In an exclusive interview with DAZN News , Garner insists that his opponent's record has no bearing on their own bout, and that he believes he has the superior skill to win.

"It doesn’t make a difference in my eyes," he said. "I’m willing to go deep. I’ll beat who’s in front of me. I can’t help that he’s lost and I haven’t.

"I’ve got the tools to win this fight and go on to bigger things. It’s a tough fight. He’s been there, done it, been in with some world-class fighters.

"He’s more experienced, but that doesn’t mean anything. I’m the better fighter all-round. Regardless of him beating other people, he hasn’t beat me yet."

Garner admits he also has his eyes on a major homecoming on the hallowed ground of his beloved Southampton, but is also taking aim at bigger belts and fight nights too.

"The next stage after this really is world level, but I’ve got to get through this first," he added. "I can't look past Reece. He’s game, he’s trim, he’s a champion.

"But when I get through this, I’m one step closer to a world title and then a dream fight at St Mary’s Stadium. I’ll hope to potentially fight again at the end of next year.

"Then St Mary’s next summer is the plan. That is my aim. I want to be on the biggest shows, the biggest money. Wembley, Saudi Arabia, anything that’s happening."
