New world champion crowned on Jake Paul-promoted fight card

Most Valuable Prospects arrived in Montreal on Saturday night with Canada's very own Kim Clavel headlining the card. 

She was going up against Argentina's Sol Cudos, who was making the first defence of her IBF strawweight title. 

Picking up a cut near her right eye in the fifth round did not deter her pressure and a strong finish late on helped Clavel claim the belt by unanimous decision.

This world title success makes a Clavel a two-weight world champion after enjoying a reign as the WBC light flyweight champion.
