The original Artur Beterbiev-Dmitry Bivol fight last October had Beterbiev adjusting midway and overwhelming Bivol toward a majority decision to become the undisputed light heavyweight world champion.

On Saturday night in the headliner rematch of Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, Bivol flipped the script, making the necessary adjustments from the seventh round to brilliantly outbox Beterbiev and win by his own majority decision to be crowned the new undisputed light heavyweight world champ .

After the superb sweet science display, Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) told DAZN that he would like to get some well-deserved rest. However, when he does return to the ring, he will have plenty of options for his next big fight.

Here, DAZN News lists three possible opponents for the new undisputed 175-pound king of boxing.

Artur Beterbiev trilogy

A majority decision nod for Beterbiev in October gets avenged by Bivol in the rematch just over four months later.

That writes the perfect script for a trilogy between these two ultimate competitors.

DAZN's Chris Mannix shared how His Excellency Turki Alalshikh immediately signaled for a trilogy following Saturday night's rematch and Beterbiev himself co-signed that desire in a subsequent interview.

After 24 thrilling rounds resulting in a win apiece, possibly getting the gift of seeing rounds 25 through 36 would be astounding.

These two are truly at the top of their respective crafts and it would be intriguing to see who can close out the rivalry in a final high-level boxing bout.

David Benavidez

Prior to Bivol avenging his loss against Beterbiev, David Benavidez told DAZN that he wants the winner for the right to be the undisputed ruler at light heavyweight.

The undefeated boxing star is a pristine 30-0 (24 KOs), coming off of a key unanimous decision victory over David Morrell  earlier this month.

During an interview with DAZN News late last year, Benavidez shared his history with Bivol.

“I know Bivol really well. I’ve sparred him a lot. I have a lot of respect for him," Benavidez said. “Just because I’ve sparred him, [I’m] not saying he’s an easy fighter or none of that. I know what I can do with him.”

Considering Benavidez is the interim WBA/WBC light heavyweight champion, he has earned the shot at Bivol's crown.

Now, it is just about making the mega fight happen.

Gilberto Ramirez

Look back at Bivol's history and he counts a unanimous decision victory over Gilberto Ramírez back in November 2022.

Since then, Ramirez has come into his own as the reigning, unified WBA/WBO cruiserweight world champion.

Just imagine if Bivol were to follow up his undisputed light heavyweight feat by attempting to become the unified cruiserweight world champ.

For Bivol, it would allow him to add another great chapter in his growing legend.

For Ramirez (47-1, 30 KOs), the rematch would mark a shot to avenge his only pro loss.
