A 'p—d off' Zach Parker hit out at Joshua Buatsi after the star lost a contentious decision in Manchester on Saturday night, stating that his rival "couldn't outbox me" in victory.
The former British super-middleweight champion appeared to have a handy advantage at the end of ten rounds, having outlanded the Rio 2016 medalist with intelligent work.
But Buatsi's busier output off the front foot in the back half, married by a number of clinches made by Parker to slow momentum, ultimately swung a majority decision his way.
The Derbyshire star was visibly distraught at the result, which earned boos and jeers at the Co-op Live, and subsequently aired his frustrations with his opponent's approach.
"I'm fuming," he told DAZN's broadcast afterwards. "I won that fight easily. I think every single person at ringside would say I won it. I won seven rounds. He couldn't outbox me.
"He couldn't even touch me. I should be the champion now and heading on for bigger fights. Everyone's got eyes, so they can see the fight. He can't even land a clean shot.
"I'm p—d off now. I should be going on for bigger titles and big money fights. I'm trying to change my daughter's life, and I get decisions like that. It's a joke.
"I don't know what to say about it. He pushed me down. What can I do? I can't keep lifting him up, he's fourteen stone or whatever. It was a little bit scrappy at times.
"But I jabbed his head off all night. He couldn't even catch me with a shot. I gave him one round and that was early. You saw my movement. That was a comfortable win."
