Zach Parker has professed his hope to return to headline a homecoming bout at Derby's Pride Park Stadium ahead of his next test.
The star squares off with Joshua Buatsi at Manchester's Co-op Live this weekend on Saturday, November 1, live on DAZN.
Parker is bidding to make waves at light-heavyweight, having made the step from super-middleweight into a crowded domestic division.
But as he makes the trip north, home is not far from the heart, and the star admits he would love to take a major bout on his own turf.
"One-hundred percent," he exclusively told DAZN News. "Since I turned professional, I've not actually boxed there.
"It would be good to get a big show in Derby."It was close one time, but my childhood dream is to fight at Pride Park.
"You never know what's in your future, but if we can make a massive fight in Derby, I'm all for it.
"But obviously, I'm headlining this one. It's not like I'm not used to it. It doesn't get much bigger than this, so I'm really looking forward to it.
"My training has gone really well. This is the first time in all of my pro fights where I've not had the aches or niggles."
Joshua Buatsi vs Zach Parker is live on DAZN this Saturday night, November 1. Watch the fight and whole card with a DAZN subscription.
