There was finally some joy for England fans with the team winning their first Test match in Australia after 18 previous unsuccessful attempts in Melbourne.
While it was a moment to savour, the fact the game lasted just two days still leaves more questions than answers as to whether England can still be a serious force Down Under.
They may trail Australia 3-1, but the final Test in Sydney presents the chance for England to restore some more pride to a chaotic tour.
Ahead of the first ball, DAZN News has everything you need to know ahead of the fifth Ashes Test in Sydney.
The fifth Ashes Test begins on Saturday evening with the first ball set to be bowled at 11:30pm GMT. The match is scheduled for five days.
There will be three sessions and the timings can be found below.
The game will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground, which has a capacity of 48,000 people.
One thing is for sure in Sydney, the pitch will not be as lively compared to the MCG.
England will be full of confidence after their win in Melbourne, but they cannot use it as a reason to play outlandish shots and use out of the box tactics in the field.
The Aussies will want to inflict a humiliating 4-1 defeat on England, but the latter have found a pace bowler who thrives in Australian conditions in the form of Josh Tongue. I also expect England to bring an outright spinner into the game with Sydney being a ground which often benefits this particular type of bowler.
When it comes to a prediction, I'm going for the draw. Games at Sydney are often disrupted by rain and with some forecast, there may not be enough time for a result if the weather decides to disrupt the final chapter of this Ashes series.
Despite losing in Melbourne, Australia are the favourites to triumph in Sydney at 4/6, while England are priced at 2/1.
