Blockbuster ties for three English teams and a Madrid derby headlines the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League last-16 draw after fixtures were officially confirmed on Friday.

With the revamped knockout phase play-offs completed, there are some mouthwatering ties in the competition's more traditional rounds to look forward to next month.

Group Phase winners Liverpool top a slate of exciting ties as the Premier League leaders meet France's Paris Saint-Germain in the knockout stage for the first time since 1997.

Victory for the Reds could set up an all-English affair in the quarter-finals against Aston Villa, who take on Belgium's Club Brugge on what has been a superb return to Europe.

Arsenal meanwhile will take on Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, with a potential clash against Real Madrid on the cards if Los Blancos can beat local rivals Atletico Madrid themselves.

Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich will face domestic rivals and champions Bayer Leverkusen in another eye-catching tie, while Borussia Dortmund meet Lille too.

Clashes between Feyenoord and Inter Milan - the only Italian side left in the competition - and Benfica and Barcelona complete the draw.

Matches are set to be played across March 4 and 5 for the first leg, with the return fixtures set for a week later across March 11 and 12.
