Who are the British players in Serie A this season?

Here are all the players from the the United Kingdom set to play the 2025-26 season in Serie A, all of whom hail from England and Scotland.

Who are the English players in Serie A this season?

There is no shortage of notable players from England who have dressed for Serie A sides over the years, with the likes of David Beckham (Milan), Ashley Cole (Roma), Joe Hart (Torino), Paul Ince (Inter) and Micah Richards (Fiorentina) all having previously played in the Italian top flight.

Currently, there are eight English players in the league.

Dele Alli (Como)

The former Tottenham man joined Cesc Fabregas' Como on an 18-month deal in January.

Tino Anjorin (Torino)

One of many Chelsea signings from the past decade, Anjorin spent several seasons out on loan before joining Empoli in 2024.

The 23-year-old played a full season with Empoli before going out on loan again, this time to Torino ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Keinan Davis (Udinese)

Davis was on the books at Aston Villa for several years before joining  Le Zebrette in 2023.

Lloyd Kelly (Juventus)

A former England youth international, Kelly was most known for his time at AFC Bournemouth. 

The defender joined Juventus on loan from Newcastle earlier this year and is now a full Juve player heading into the 2025-26 season.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Milan)

Another one of Chelsea's "loan army," Loftus-Cheek did manage to make over 150 appearances for the Blues in a decade on the London side's books.

Now 29, the 10-time capped England midfielder has spent two seasons with Milan.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy (Genoa)

Signed to Arsenal as a teenager, Norton-Cuffy never experienced top flight football in England as he spent 2021 through 2024 on loan in the lower leagues.

The full-back made the step up to Serie A in the 2024-25 season, joining Genoa for an undisclosed fee.

Daniel Oyegoke (Hellas Verona)

Right-sided player Oyegoke played in League One, League Two and the Scottish Premiership before moving to Verona in January 2025.

Fikayo Tomori (Milan)

Canadian born, England raised Tomori is another player who started with Chelsea, with several loans along the way.

His most recent loan was to Milan in 2021, which he parlayed into a permanent deal with the Rossoneri later that year.

Who are the Scottish players in Serie A this season?

Scottish players are no strangers to Serie A, with Graeme Souness (Sampdoria), Denis Law (Torino) and Joe Jordan (Milan & Verona) among those who have suited up in Italy in the past.

Currently, there are four Scottish players in the league.

Ché Adams (Torino)

Before joining Torino in July 2024, Adams worked his way up the English pyramid as he played non-league football before spending time in League One, the Championship and the Premier League.

Lewis Ferguson (Bologna)

Hamilton-born Ferguson had nearly 150 appearances in the Scottish Premiership before moving to Bologna ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Billy Gilmour (Napoli)

Former Brighton midfielder Gilmour joined Napoli in the summer of 2024 — just in time to be part of their Serie A-winning campaign.

Scott McTominay (Napoli)

Scott McTominay SSC Neapel 27042025

McTominay spent over two decades at Manchester United between youth and professional football, making over 255 first-team appearances for the Red Devils before leaving Old Trafford in the summer of 2024.

The midfielder was then bought by Napoli for a reported £25 million deal, and in his second Serie A season he won the first league title of his career.
