Promotion contenders Rochdale will be expected to humble bottom side Gateshead when they meet in the National League on Saturday afternoon.
Despite falling to fifth in the table, Jimmy McNulty's side certainly have the title in their hands as they only sit three points off the top with as many as four games in hand on those around them.
The Dale are yet to play a match in 2026 and will be itching to return to winning ways, having ended the festive period with a shock 2-1 home defeat to Hartlepool United .
As for the Heed, the situation is looking incredibly bleak as they have lost their last 12 in all competitions. Although they are only four points adrift of safety, it seems only a miracle can save Rob Elliot's men.
