Italy and Argentina begin their 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup on Monday.
The teams watched as Sweden edged past South Africa a day previous, and now they'll both look to earn three points to keep pace atop Group G. The Italians are back at the WWC after a quarter-final appearance four years ago, which followed four consecutive non-qualifications for the tournament.
They'll look to continue their upward trajectory, and a victory in their opening match would help in reaching that goal. Standing in their way are an Argentine side that exited at the group stage in 2019, but their recent results show promise as they've won five of the six matches they've played in 2023 (the other match was a draw).
Will Italy continue their rise or will Argentina's recent victories prove fruitful on the biggest stage?
Here's how you can watch.
The match will take place at Eden Park in Auckland.
