The 2025-26 campaign boasts some of the biggest managerial names ever assembled in the division, as well as some familiar names taking their first steps up the ladder.
Here, DAZN News lists all 24 managers from the fifth tier.
A Premier League player for Southampton in the early 90s, Widdrington has been in charge of the Shots since 2023 and will look to improve on their midtable finish last season.
Shares a name with a former National League winner, and was close to landing Altrincham a play-off place last season. They missed out by just a point in an impressive campaign.
Led Boreham Wood back to the National League last season with a win in the Play-off final and will be looking to make a mark in this season's division.

The combative Irishman, best known as a player for his time during Plymouth's rise to the Championship, steered Boston away from relegation danger last season and was of interest to Hartlepool over the summer.
Spent his playing days in the National League before taking up coaching and led Brackley to the National League North title last season, landing the division's Manager of the Year award.
Took over from Angelo Harrop midway through last season and helped Braintree get away from the division's danger zone. Looking to move up the league in his first full campaign in charge.
One of the biggest names to ever manage in the National League, Hughes successfully managed Manchester City, Blackburn and Stoke in the Premier League, and his pedigree makes Carlisle big favourites, despite not being able to prevent them from being relegated last season.

The former Premier League goalkeeper took on his first managerial job with Eastleigh in 2024 and had them flirting with the Play-offs last season.
Another notable addition to the National League managerial roster is Robbie Savage, who has taken over from Steve Cotterill after leaving Macclesfield. Expect some fun and fireworks in the Forest Green dugout.

Having crashed out of the Play-off reckoning on the last day, Gateshead have replaced Carl Magnay with Alun Armstrong, who Premier League fans of a certain vintage will remember as a striker for Ipswich in the early noughties.
The new man in charge of The Shay is Adam Lakeland, who was appointed in the summer after leaving King's Lynn, replacing Chris Millington.
The Monkeyhangers have grabbed themselves a wealth of experience from the Football League and beyond in Grayson, who joins the club having just won the league title in Nepal.

Relegated from League Two last season, Morecambe have all kinds of issues off the pitch but are hoping the experience of Adams, who's in his third spell in charge of the club, will steer them in the right direction.
Dale has steadily improved in both McNulty's two seasons in charge, making the Play-offs last year, and they'll be looking for the same result under the former Championship defender in 2025-26.
Scunthorpe's rise back up the leagues has been led by Andy Butler. In his first full season in charge of his first club, the former defender led them to a play-off win that saw them win promotion back to the National League.

Rembered fondly for his days in the Premier League with Portsmouth, Taylor swapped Wealdstone for Solihull midway through last season and is looking forward to his first full campaign at the club.
Southend made it all the way to Wembley in 2025 but were just pipped to promotion by Oldham. However, in Kevin Maher, they have an experienced boss who's determined to get the Essex side back in the Football League.
The former Millwall and Leeds striker saw over a steady season for Sutton last year, but will be looking for the club to kick on and aim for a Play-off spot ahead of the new campaign.

Peaks and Tamworth hit the headlines last year with their FA Cup run, and it helped fuel a season where they finished in midtable. More of the same would be welcome in 2025-26.
Appointed last summer, Askey oversaw a National League South campaign where his team won promotion to the National League for the first time in their history.
Aged just 34, Cox was made Wealdstone manager in June and takes over a club that finished just a point above the relegation zone last season.
A former Crazy Gang member from Wimbledon's top flight heyday, Ardley moved to Woking last December and only lost one in his first seventeen matches in charge of the club.
The vastly experienced boss has been in charge of Yeovil since 2022, and will look to bounce back after a disappointing campaign last year that saw them finish in the bottom half of the league.
York came so close to promotion last season as they finished second behind Barnet, and they've stuck with Adam Hinshelwood to see if he can get City over the line this campaign.
