Paris Saint-Germain and Palmeiras finished top of their groups, and Botafogo and Inter Miami CF also booked their places in the knockout round of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™.

PSG posted a 2-0 victory against Seattle Sounders FC at Lumen Field, the Major League Soccer side's home stadium, while Botafogo lost 1-0 to Atlético de Madrid but qualified for the last 16 ahead of their opponents on goal difference.

Palmeiras fought back for a 2-2 draw against Inter Miami to win Group A on goal difference. FC Porto and Al Ahly FC played an eight-goal thriller at MetLife Stadium, but both teams are eliminated from the competition.

Seattle Sounders FC 0-2 Paris Saint-Germain

PSG grabbed the lead in the 35th minute after Kvicha Kvaratskhelia's deflection of Vitinha's strike, and Achraf Hakimi sealed the victory and group top spot by finishing a 66th-minute counter-attack with the most comfortable of finishes.

PSG return to action on Sunday 29 June, when they will face the Group A runners-up Inter Miami in Atlanta, a fixture which sees Herons captain Lionel Messi facing one of his former clubs.

Atlético de Madrid 1-0 Botafogo

Atlético finally broke through in the 87th minute thanks to Antoine Griezmann, but for the most part, Botafogo frustrated Diego Simeone's side to finish as group runners-up.

Renato Paiva's team now take on Group A winners Palmeiras in Philadelphia on Saturday 28 June.

Palmeiras erased a 2-0 deficit with substitute Paulinho's 80th-minute goal and Mauricio's 87th-minute equaliser to shock Inter Miami.

Luis Suarez set up Tadeo Allende's 16th-minute opener and then scored in the 65th minute with a left-footed strike past goalkeeper Weverton.

Palmeiras next meet Group B runners-up Botafogo in Philadelphia on 28 June, while Inter Miami will take on Group B winners PSG in Atlanta on 29 June.

Substitute Pepe's 89th-minute equaliser earned Porto a share of the points in a wildly entertaining match against Al Ahly.

The Portuguese side overcame Wessam Abou Ali's hat-trick and Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane's 64th-minute goal with tying goals by Rodrigo Mora (23) William Gomes (50), Samu Aghehowa (53) and Pepe.
