The Serie A season has taken its final international break of the campaign, and left us pondering a title race that seems impossible to predict.

Inter lead the way after eleven games, but only by a goal difference ahead of Roma and only three points separate the top five.

But which Serie A stars have impressed the most in the three months of the campaign? Ash Rose name-drops the star performers.

Nico Paz (Como)

Serie A's outstanding performer so far this campaign has been the jewel in Como's crown, Nico Paz

The Argentine playmaker has been directly involved in more goals than any other player so far this season, with four goals and four assists in his first eleven outings.

Boss Cesc Fabregas has leaned heavily on his star man as both creator and goalscorer, but so far he has risen to the challenge and it has seen Como only lose one game so far and sitting just outside the European spots.

Riccardo Orsolini (Bologna)

Bologna are making a surprise bid to upset the title regulars at the top of the division, and it's been led by the goalscoring exploits of Orsolini.

The Italian forward leads the way in the goals chart, alongside Hakan Calhanoglu, with five goals, including the winner against Como and the last-minute penalty that secured victory over Genoa.

Alongside his attacking partners, who have also been among the goals, it's put Bologna firmly in the dark horse role in this season's title race.

Ange-Yoan Bonny (Inter)

Inter sit at the top of the Serie A table, and that's largely down to a frontline that has all been among the goals. And while that was somewhat expected of Latauro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, Bonny has also been a notable performer for the Milan side.

The Frenchman has scored four goals and contributed four assists so far and looks on course to smash his best-ever season's total of six, for Parma last term.

His displays have meant that Christian Chivu's side have been able to cope with key injuries to their attack and still lead the way in November.

Frank Anguissa (Napoli)

Before the season, Napoli's all-star midfield was all about Scott McTominay and new arrival Kevin De Bruyne, yet it is another member of Antonio Conte's engine room that has been the champions' leading light.

Former Fulham man Anguissa has been Napoli's go-to player in times of need this season, with the Cameroonian scoring in the win over Inter and netting late goals against Cagliari and Lecce.

It's not just his goal-scoring exploits, though. Anguissa has been the one constant as Conte tries to find the right balance in his midfield this season.
