This is the opening of the two-game Global Series between the two teams from the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, on Friday and Saturday. The second game of the series will be played on Sunday.
The Blackhawks (8-5-3, 19 pts) have the third-longest winning streak in the NHL, having won their last three games. They are led by Connor Bedard, who has scored a point in his previous eight games and is tied for second with 25 points (9 goals, 16 assists).
