The UFC hosted a PPV event from Australia on Saturday, Feb. 8 with two title fights highlighting the card.

The headliner for the event was a rematch between UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis and former champion Sean Strickland. The pair met for the first time at UFC 297 in January 2024. The fight was a close split decision, but Strickland was dethroned in favor of the South African. Du Plessis bested Strickland again over five rounds, breaking his nose in fourth.

"When I come in here I try to knock this guy out, but it's near impossible," he said of the rematch.

"Is there no one else?" Du Plessis called out to Alex Pereira who was sitting cageside with Israel Adesanya. But welterweight champion Belal Muhammad seemed interested in the middleweight title next.
