Roman Dolidze outstrikes Marvin Vettori in rematch revenge

The UFC hosted a Fight Night from Las Vegas where two ranked middleweights fought for their chance at either reamining in the top 10, or getting into the top 10. 

Italy's Marvin Vettori won the first bout but it was Georgia's Roman Dolidze who earned the nod from the judges in the rematch. 

"It was a big and important test for me," Dolidze said to Michael Bisping after the fight. "The first fight I was going hard just because of my aggression, this time I was learning how to control my aggression."

Dolidze called out Robert Whittaker or Israel Adesanya for his next fight and said he could fight again in just a few days.

Vettori was making his return to the Octagon for the first time since his loss to Jared Cannonier in 2023. He returned after the long layoff and booked a rematch with Dolidze, who he beat shortly before his loss to Cannonier. It's unclear if Vettori will retire after this bout.
