Bayern Munich will seek to reassert their place as one of Europe's premier clubs when the Bundesliga outfit head west to America this year for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Vincent Kompany, in his first year in charge of the Bavarian giants, is looking to restore silverware after last year's shock term saw Harry Kane end up empty-handed.
The German heavyweights have looked sharper this term, but there are still issues they will need to iron out if they hope to go all the way and secure victory at the event.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN has all the information.
Bayern Munich are one of twelve European teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as the best ranked eligible team in the UEFA 4-year ranking.
That means they were the best performing side in European competition over the pre-tournament cycle to not win the UEFA Champions League.
It marks their third time contesting the Club World Cup, having won both times prior - in 2013 against Raja Casablanca and 2020 against UNAL.
Bayern Munich have been drawn into Group C, alongside Auckland City (New Zealand), Benfica (Portugal) and Boca Juniors (Argentina).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.
