2025 Champions League finalists Inter Milan will hope to replicate their old heroics when they make a long-awaited return to the upper tier of club action when they compete at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Serie A giants will have to contend with domestic rivals Juventus as one of two sides from Italy's top tier that will feature across the Atlantic Ocean in the United States.
But as prior winners, they will be keen to call upon the spirits of the 2010 edition in their bid to make history, starting off with an intriguing group of rivals to contend with.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN News has all the information.
Inter Milan are one of a dozen UEFA teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as the fourth-best ranked eligible team in the four-year ranking.
It marks their second time at the tournament and first since 2010, when they defeated TP Mazembe to become champions, following success in the UEFA Champions League.
Inter Milan have been drawn into Group E, alongside Monterrey (Mexico), River Plate (Argentina) and Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.
In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented.
Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
