Pachuca will look to embark on an impressive run when they make the short trip north from Mexico to the United States for at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Liga MX side, coming off a terrific 2024, will be a dark horse to progress from a group that also includes UEFA Champions League heavyweights Real Madrid.
Whether they can go any further than that is another matter entirely, but with plenty of seasoned faces in their ranks, they will feel confident they can deliver on their promise.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN has all the information.
Pachuca are one of five CONCACAF teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as the winners of the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Having defeated MLS outfit Columbus Crew to reach the tournament, they will participate for the fifth time, having finished third at the 2017 edition.
Pachuca have been drawn into Group H, alongside Al HIlal (Saudi Arabia), Real Madrid (Spain) and Red Bull Salzburg (Austria).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.
In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented.
Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
