Red Bull Salzburg will arrive in the United States as the European underdogs, but they will be keen to prove their place when they contest the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Austrian Bundesliga outfit are the surprise package among teams from UEFA who will head across the Atlantic Ocean to contend for the biggest prize in club football.
That means the pressure is off, unlike for some of their rivals, and they will have the chance to prove their worth against some major names from around the globe too.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN has all the information.
Red Bull Salzburg are one of a dozen UEFA teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as the ninth-best ranked eligible team in the four-year ranking.

Red Bull Salzburg have been drawn into Group H, alongside Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Pachuca (Mexico) and Real Madrid (Spain).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.
