Ulsan HD will look to dig into their intercontinental past when they make the trip halfway around the world to the United States for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The K League 1 heavyweights, five-time domestic winners at home, famously won the 2012 and 2020 AFC Champions League seasons with an unbeaten record.
They will hope they can draw upon such success in a fascinating group that pits them against heavyweights from three other continents as they look to leave their mark.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN has all the information.
Ulsan HD are one of four AFC teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as the best-ranked eligible team in the four-year ranking.
This marks their third time at the tournament after 2012 and 2020, but on both occasions, they failed to impress, and fell short of reaching the last four.
Ulsan HD have been drawn into Group F, alongside Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Fluminense (Brazil) and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.
In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented.
Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
