Sting made sure to leave fans with plenty of memories in the final match of his storied career Sunday night.
In fact, the wrestling legend left it all in the ring as part of he and Darby Allin retaining the AEW world tag team championship against the Young Bucks in the main event of AEW Revolution 2024 inside of Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Here, DAZN looks back at some of the fireworks and most memorable highlights that were produced in Sting's final match.
The icon's final ring walk had him joined by his sons who were dressed in earlier iterations of his character. And they walked to the ring together following a moving montage of career highlights from the legend.
Sting and his sons took turns plastering The Young Bucks with Stinger Splashes all around in the match's opening moments. The legend then introduced panes of glass that would later come into play.
If it wasn't clear that Sting was going to leave every ounce in that ring during his last match, him being suplexed off the stage and through a table showed what kind of extents he was willing to endure. And he was just scratching the surface on the night.
For Sting's final match, teammate Darby Allin was going to go all out too.
That's after he fought back as he has valiantly done over the course of his historic career.
Only for The Young Bucks to desecrate them.
It took a Scorpion Deathdrop and Scorpion Deathlock to finally put away a pesky Matthew Jackson to end Sting's career on a high note with a win.
Perhaps most touching of all was the fact that fans serenaded him with chants of "You still got it!" letting the icon know their love and respect for his work tonight ... and over the years.
