In just a few months, the German women's basketball team will compete in the World Cup in Berlin. Leonie Fiebich and Alexandra Wilke are almost certain to be two players in the squad who represent German basketball in the same colours, yet in very different ways. Fiebich won the WNBA championship title in the USA with New York Liberty in 2024, and at the same time she also collected two MVP titles in the Spanish league, where she plays for Valencia Basket. Alexandra Wilke plays for Rutronik Stars Keltern in the Toyota DBBL (winning two championship titles, among other things) and is currently in the final phase of her legal clerkship.
