Josh Allen has etched his name in the NFL record books with a history-making game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback, last season's NFL MVP, became the first player in league history to score at least one rushing touchdown and throw one or more passing TDs in 46 games.
Late in the second quarter, Allen called his own number and rushed one yard into the end zone to help the Bills take a 19-3 lead into halftime.
Then, less than three minutes into the third quarter, Allen connected with wide receiver Khalil Shakir for a 54-yard TD pass.
The Bills headed into Sunday's contest on a two-game losing streak, which the ended with the 40-9 victory, and they are battling the New England Patriots for supremacy in the AFC East.
