After missing three games with a hamstring injury, a healthy Lamar Jackson returned to action in roaring fashion Thursday night and dazzled to give the Baltimore Ravens a sorely needed morale boost toward the second half of the season.

The two-time NFL MVP completed 18-of-23 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns in leading the Ravens to a 28-6 blasting of the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Thursday Night Football.

Jackson did not waste time jumping all over the Dolphins, finding tight end Mark Andrews for a touchdown reception in the first quarter and another in the second as the Ravens took a 14-6 lead into halftime.

The superstar quarterback then led the Ravens on two scoring drives to start the second half as he found Rashod Bateman with a 9-yard touchdown pass and Charlie Kolar via a 3-yard connection to give the Ravens a 28-6 lead with 4:15 left in the third quarter.

Jackson’s fireworks were aided by Derrick Henry’s 119 rushing yards on 19 carries as the Ravens have their first win streak of the season, improving to 3-5. They also have nine days of rest before visiting the Minnesota Vikings on November 9.

Throughout NFL history, only four teams have made the playoffs after a 1-4 start, with Jackson and the suddenly dangerous Ravens looking to become the fifth squad to do it.

While the Ravens might be trending in the right direction, the Dolphins (2-7) have been absolutely hapless, only mustering a pair of field goals, while fumbling twice and tossing an interception.
