Vanderbilt (#10) @ Texas (#24)
Vanderbilt (7-1) heads to Austin to face Texas (6-2) in a game that could shake up the playoff picture.
The Commodores are rolling behind dual-threat quarterback Diego Pavia, whose efficiency and poise have turned him into a Heisman candidate and Vanderbilt into a real contender.
This play was called back last week, but it demonstrates Pavia's ability to change a game.
Texas counters with a defense that’s top-five nationally in sacks and stingy against the run, though quarterback Arch Manning’s concussion status looms large.
Vanderbilt enters the game as the favorites, but with home-field advantage, Texas could make this a closer fight than the odds suggest.
Expect a tense, high-level, can't miss showdown.
