Germany is preparing to host an NFL game for the fourth consecutive year, and this time, Berlin will take centre stage.
Following Munich’s turn in 2022 and 2024, and Frankfurt’s in 2023, the nation’s capital is next in line for a dose of gridiron action, as the plucky Atlanta Falcons (3-5) take on the suddenly dominant Indianapolis Colts (7-2) this weekend.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Colts-Falcons American football game in Berlin, which, for those not attending in person, will be broadcast live on DAZN with Game Pass.
Watching every game for the rest of the season just got even easier with DAZN's latest Game Pass offer, as a Season Pro Regular subscription has been heavily discounted from £124.99 to just £34.99, and a Season Pro Ultimate subscription has been reduced from £144.99 to only £49.99!
With this offer, you can access every game - live or on demand - as well as RedZone, NFL Network, and 24/7 programming. A subscription also includes DAZN's weekly original shows, including Downs 2 Business, Kittle Things, and X's & O's coaching breakdown.
The Indianapolis Colts - who have taken the league by storm in 2025 - will be the designated home team.
The Atlanta Falcons, a talented but inconsistent team so far this year, will be their opponents.
Colts
The Colts are a side that is dripping with talent on both sides of the ball.
Offensively, quarterback Daniel Jones, a former New York Giants castoff, has silenced his critics while playing at an MVP level for his new team.
He's joined by Offensive Player of the Year frontrunner Jonathan Taylor, who leads the league in rushing yards and touchdowns, and tight end Tyler Warren, a candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year after hitting the ground running.
Defensively, edge rusher Laiatu Latu, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, and leading tackler Nick Cross have formed a dynamic partnership that has stifled opposing offenses.
One of the storylines for this game, of course, will be the debut of two-time All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner, acquired in a blockbuster trade on deadline day.
Falcons
The star of the show for the Falcons is Bijan Robinson, the electric running back who can single-handedly take over games.
Quarterback Michael Penix is a dual-threat talent, and while he's still finding his rhythm, he's coming off the best performance of his career - a game in which elite wideout Drake London caught three touchdowns.
Tight end Kyle Pitts, who struggled to replicate his rookie success, has found his groove once again and could be a difference-maker in Berlin.
Not to be outdone by their offensive teammates, the Falcons' defense is one of the best in the league, boasting talents such as linebacker Kaden Elliss and a trio of rookie playmakers in Jalon Walker, James Pearce, and Xavier Watts.
The Colts suffered only their second loss of the season last week, falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They will be desperate to get back to winning ways and put on a show for their fans in Berlin.
The Falcons, after their narrow loss to a strong New England Patriots in Week 9, will be eager to use this game as a platform to get back to .500.
Beyond that, if Penix's last performance is any indication of what's to come, they may even set their sights on a Wild Card playoff spot.
The game will be played at the Olympiastadion Berlin, the home of the Hertha BSC football team.
The stadium served as the setting for the American Bowl series, held between 1990 and 1994, in which teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, and Buffalo Bills participated.
