Former IBF WBO and WBA heavyweight champion Tyson Fury

"It’s a weight category thing. If it’s 10.5 stone it’s going to be Conor Benn."

"If it’s at middleweight then probably Chris Eubank Jr."

"I can’t see it going past three or four rounds. "

"If I tell you what he has been doing to those middleweights, super middleweights and light heavyweights, they had their hands full with my son. He’s an animal."

“I’ll be honest. I don’t want to pick a winner right now."

"I’ve swayed left, I’ve swayed right. When the fight was first made, I thought Eubank was maybe too big. This time round, I think actually a lot has happened in the two years, maybe Eubank has seen his best days."

"He avenged that loss against Smith and looked like he rejuvenated himself and now it comes down to who can hold their head because it’s going to be an intense build-up.”

Boxing hall of famer, Roy Jones Jr

“Chris learned in the Liam Smith fight that you can’t underestimate nobody, cause Liam Smith was not known as a knockout puncher and he got a win over Chris. That woke him up and prepared him for this fight."

"He takes his lesson and applies it to this fight, he’ll be fine. Conor, on the other hand, has to take a page out of his dad’s book.

"The only way he’s gonna beat Eubank is if he’s flat on his back. I’m not gonna outbox him, he’s bigger than me. I can’t move around and stay away from him cause he’s the bigger guy. I can’t let the bigger guy stop me. I have to stop him, because my family’s known for punching power"

"I’ve got to be true to the sport, my goal is to land a big left hook, or overhand right. He has to know that. Chris’ job is to just go out there and be Chris, but Conor has to try to gamble and make something happen.”

"I've always said when the fight first got talked about, even before I boxed Chris, that Chris was too big."

If Conor can make 147lbs then he is too small to make 160lbs, realistically. Even when I was 154lbs [super welterweight], I couldn't make welterweight. I think anyone who can make welterweight shouldn't be anywhere near middleweight."

"Conor will be hoping a lot of things will come into play, and the fight with me will play a big part."

"After what I did to Chris, I wouldn't be shocked if Conor manages to do the same. It's a closer fight now because of our fight, but I'd still pick Chris on points."

“As of late he’s looked a little bit old should we say, and don’t forget Eubank’s not the kind of boxer to get on behind his jab, get a nice lead, use his footwork.

"He’s been in some scraps and he’s been in some good scraps with not the best opponents but they’ve still give him some good work"

"I just think if Conor catches him clean and can follow up on one of them good shots, sort of like a Liam Smith shot, I think Conor Benn knocks him out.”

“I’m friends with Nigel, friends with Conor, but a lot of people are favouring Eubank a little bit. Let’s have it right, Conor’s not boxed nowhere near the level of Chris or the people Chris has fought at his own weight let alone two weights above."

"But Chris will be boiling down a bit, last time he boiled down he got knocked out by Liam Smith so that will help Conor."

"But knowing Nigel and Conor like I do, the self-belief that Conor has, he has that real self-belief and will and drive to win, so I think that might give him the edge and I’m gonna go with Conor.”

Former unified light-welterweight champion, Amir Khan

“Conor Benn will be in safe hands, because Eubank’s not the biggest puncher.

“He’s very technical, but I think Conor might actually be the bigger puncher in that fight by putting a bit of weight on. So I think it’s very evenly matched, a good fight for both fighters."

"I’d say it’s 60–40 in favour of Eubank just because of the weight, the height, and the size. But listen, anything can happen in boxing. Conor Benn could start fast and could go straight in and knock him out early."

"The way he’s been training – he looks explosive. I’ve been watching his train for the Eubank fight, and he looks really dangerous. I think he’s got that love back again. You need that dancing partner to bring the hunger back, and I think Eubank is that guy.”

“If you wanna talk that s--t then I’m gonna talk it back and I’m gonna say Chris Eubank, I think he’s more seasoned.”

British boxing Icon, Joe Calzaghe

“I think it’s a tough one to call. Talent-wise I think they’re on the same sort of level but size normally size wins fights."

"So I sort of edge with Eubank as he’s the bigger guy naturally.”

Former undisputed light-welterweight champion, Josh Taylor

“I’m not sure you know, I’m kinda half on the fence."

"I think Eubank has been in with better opposition, he’s only lost to the top guys in the world so yeh he’s been tested and proven at world level a couple of times so I’m edging towards Eubank, but the edge and freshness is with Benn." "

"I think that’s a little bit heavy, I don’t know how much Eubank puts on after the weight in, to limit him to 10lbs, again, it is what it is."

"If it was for the IBF title that’s why it would be so he can’t grumble too much.”

Former IBF welterweight champion, Kell Brook

“I've got Eubank to win, I think just with his size, but I don't know because the weight's an issue."

"What's it going to have took out of Eubank when he gets in the ring?"

"We're going to have to wait and see, but I just slightly favor towards Eubank in this fight just because he's boxed on a bigger level. For me, Conor's not really boxed at that level as of yet.”

Irish boxing legend, Barry McGuigan

“I would have said Benn has the edge because he’s lively and punching hard and he’s settling into the pro game very well."

"Eubank is more experienced but he got cracked by Smith."

"I know he did the same to Smith in the return but when guys have resistance then get knocked down and knocked out, it takes something away from them that they never get back."

"Would give Benn the edge. He’s fast, he’s quick, he can beat Eubank to the punch but Eubank is tough. It’s a really 50-50 fight.”

Junior Welterweight prospect, Adam Aziz

"I'm going for Conor Benn, obviously Eubank Jr is the bigger fighter but I feel like Benn is the fresher fighter and he will get him out of there."

"There are weight divisions for a reason, but looking at Eubank Jr's last performance, I wasn't keen on it."

Gennady Golovkin’s former trainer Abel Sanchez:

“You’re looking at Conor as being the smaller guy. He’s going to be so much stronger than Chris Eubank, because Chris doesn’t use his strength."

"He tried to use his boxing ability. He’s got a nice jab. He drops his hands, he tries to be on his toes and tries to be things that are not going to be good against a Conor Benn."

"Conor Benn is going to attack from the first bell to the last bell, and he’s going to push him around, muscle him around, foul him. It’s going to be an ugly fight. He [Benn] stops him late."

"Against Liam Smith, he [Eubank Jr] kept dropping his hands right before he dropped him. He was dropping them below his waist.”

talkSPORT host, Simon Jordan

"I've got a feeling that feeling as well [that Benn will stop Eubank Jr in six rounds].

"He shouldn't because Chris is bigger and more experienced"

"I just think the ferocity might come through."
