Conor Benn has his first outing of 2024 when he faces America's Peter Dobson in Las Vegas next month.
The bout, exclusively live on DAZN on February 4, will see Benn look to make an immediate impact this year as he looks to land a number of significant contests against some of the world’s best fighters.
After an adverse finding in a 2022 drugs test before a scheduled fight against bitter rival, Chris Eubank Jr, Benn has been low on activity in the boxing ring.
With Dobson set to present Benn with a decent test, the Essex man is in a confident mood as he prepares for battle and he’s ready to remind people what he’s capable of.
“I’m going to make an example of him. He can do the talking. Talk as much as you want, the outcome will be the same,” said Benn when speaking to Fight Mag
“Delusion is one hell of a thing and there’s a fine line between delusion and confidence. I know what I am bringing in and that’s sheer violence, sheer brutality, sheer spite.
“Whatever he does, I do better, and I am going in there to handle business and deal with him in serious fashion.”
