Conor Benn continues his attempt to earn a world title fight later this year in his first fight of 2022.

His most recent bout came against former world champion Chris Algieri last December, when the 25-year-old Briton secured a knockout victory.

Next up is the experienced Chris van Heerden, with the South African a stiff test, but nonetheless one Benn will expect to get past if he wants to maintain his momentum.

Van Heerden has 28 wins and two defeats, and his last fight came against Jaron Ennis in December 2020.
