Devin Haney has called on Ryan Garcia to grant him a rematch after he was sensationally beaten by his longtime rival.
Haney was dropped three times before losing on the scorecards, with the loss being the first of his professional career.
Due to Garcia not making the 140lbs weight limit at Friday’s weigh in, he was unable to win the WBC super-lightweight belt.
Haney is still the champion and he’s hoping he gets the opportunity to settle the series with Garcia
"I would love a rematch. I gave him a shot, it's only right he gives me a shot back,” said Haney in the ring after the fight.
“He didn't make weight so I'm still the champion. We can run it back."
