So, here we go. The three-year wait is over. The talking is done. The egg has been cleaned up. Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn have no hiding place now, as they finally step into the ring on Saturday.
Live on DAZN PPV from 5pm BST, the two feuding enemies , carrying family reputation and pride, will slug it out in the most defining fight of their respective careers - this is the one they will be remembered for.
Benn has gone up two divisions from welterweight (147lbs) , putting on just under a stone. However, Eubank Jr will still be significantly bigger, weighing in above the 160lb fight limit on Friday .
So, with all the build-up, debating and talking done, only one question remains... who will win?
The DAZN News experts give their answers and predictions to that very question.
Despite the drama, the excitement, the verbal back and firths, their fathers, and eggs, I cannot look past size and experience when determining who comes out on top in this fight.
Eubank Jr has been here so many times with Billy Joe Saunders, Liam Smith, and James Degale, and he often covers himself in glory when dealing with opponents where personal feelings have been attached.
Benn is a welterweight. He is a welterweight who has yet to face a truly world class opponent. He has not been active.
He will start fast, and he will have bad intentions, but his window for victory in this fight is a short one and I think he could be in trouble once it gets past halfway.
There, Eubank Jr will take over and with the pace of the fight and the occasion getting to Benn, the man from Brighton can secure a stoppage somewhere in the final stages.
When it comes to the third chapter in British boxing’s biggest family rivalry, I am backing Chris Eubank Jr to get the win.
The first four or so rounds will see Conor Benn come out like a raging bull, and I can see Eubank Jr using his superior movement to make his opponent look silly.
Then I expect Eubank Jr to get to work, picking off an exhausted Benn who will struggle in what is his first ‘real’ test against a world title calibre opponent.
Talent-wise both men are on the same kind of level.
While it is often said that a good big ‘un beats a good little ‘un – nobody can be 100% confident whether Eubank Jr can still be a force at middleweight.
Eubank Jr is the naturally bigger man who has fought against established world champions as high as super-middleweight.
But there is no question he will be hampered by the rehydration clause this weekend and my gut feeling is that youth will prevail (possibly by stoppage).
I see Eubank delivering enough measured sweet science skills to get a unanimous decision on the cards.
At times, Benn's pressure fighting should seep through and test Eubank but the veteran should be able to adjust and keep enough ring real estate between them to sway judges.
Fight fans are in for a treat at the end of April / start of May, with three amazing fight cards within seven days - and DAZN PPV is the only place to watch them all.
