Fabio Wardley proved he is "the best heavyweight in the world" after victory over Joseph Parker , with the star's manager Michael Ofo confident he can stop Oleksandr Usyk .
The Briton secured an eleventh-round triumph at London's The O2 Arena on Saturday to defeat the WBO interim title holder and move into prime challenger position himself.
Queensberry Promotions boss Frank Warren suggested a likely bout in the first quarter of next year, with Wembley Stadium and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as possible locations.
Now, Ofo has weighed in on his star's achievement, and believes that his self-belief and desire can help him upset expectations again when he does face the Ukrainian.
"I think one of Fabio’s gifts is his mentality," he told The Ring . "I don’t care who you are, that is going to be something very, very hard to deal with. He’s not going to stop trying.
"He’s going to stay committed to the goal and he’s got the power to stop you. Oleksandr Usyk has been in some tough, tough fights and he’s getting older. Fabio's fresh.
"Fabio’s very hungry. You can never underestimate a hungry man. If Fabio believes that he beats Usyk, I believe that Fabio beats Usyk. It's not news to me what he can do.
"When Fabio gets going, he’s the best finisher in the world. [He] just proved why he’s the best heavyweight in the world. The next challenge will be Oleksandr Usyk.”
