Anthony Joshua returned to the ring for the second time this year on Saturday night when he faced Robert Helenius.
'The Nordic Nightmare' was brought in as a last minute replacement for Dillian Whyte and while many fans expected Joshua to produce a knockout finish in the early rounds, it was clear that the former two-time world heavyweight champion was working out his opponent.
Amongst some boos from the crowd in round three, Joshua slowly began to gain more confidence, throwing more and more combinations, before a thumping right hand in the seventh knocked Helenius out cold at the O2 Arena.
Now a fight with Deontay Wilder in early 2024 seems certain for Joshua with Saudi Arabia looking like the destination.
