Carl Froch has a lengthy history with Jake Paul, and their rivalry does not seem like it is settling after the former world champion has labelled Paul a ‘clown.’
Although retired for 11 years, Froch has recently found his voice on his Froch on Fighting show and his honest assessments of today’s boxers have kept him in the public eye.
Despite having his hands full with Till, Froch has not neglected other areas of the boxing world, and he has been very outspoken on Paul’s showdown with Paul.
Paul has plenty of advantages in this fight when it comes to size, but Froch believes the experience possessed by ‘Tank’ means it will be an easy night for the Baltimore fighter.
“I think if Tank Davis wanted to, he wouldn't get hit with a shot. He is a great fighter. Like one of the best. He's an unbelievable talent. There's no way Jake Paul can lay a glove on him,” said Froch when speaking to Football Blog.
“The size won’t matter, he's slower. Jake Paul is not a boxer. He's a performing clown. He's f—g useless. He can't fight. He literally cannot fight. He's absolutely f—g crap. So, when he is in there against Gervonta Davis, Davis can just play with him.”
