Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis - Fighters shake hands on incredible bet regarding their upcoming clash

Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis will meet on November 14 in a high-profile exhibition bout with two of boxing’s biggest names going at it. 

The sporting world was stunned earlier this year when it was announced that Paul and Davis will go at it due to the major size difference between the pair, and that was further highlighted this week when they came face to face at press conferences to publicise the event.  

Davis is a lightweight and fights around the 135lbs mark whilst Paul has been operating at cruiserweight which is over 60lbs heavier than what ‘Tank’ currently operates at.  

The experience at the highest level possessed by Davis is intended to be the equaliser to the size disparity and the Baltimore man is one of the biggest punchers in boxing.  

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the exhibition will have a winner with three judges scoring the contest, but Paul and Davis raised the stakes when they agreed to have a bet on the outcome.  

The fighters agreed to a $2m bet and they shook hands on the agreement meaning that the winner will receive another hefty sum on top of his fight purse.  

It is one of the year’s biggest fights, and even though it is an exhibition, both are taking it seriously with both men willing to back themselves by betting a huge amount on the outcome.
