Usyk vs Dubois 2 - Saturday on DAZN PPV - Buy Now

The buildup to Saturday night's super flyweight title unification clash between WBC and Ring Magazine titlist Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez and WBO titlist Phumelela Cafu has been pretty respectful. And that held up to par one day before they lock horns inside the squared circle from the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas, live on DAZN

Rodriguez and Cafu looked in tremendous shape as they made their way to the stage. They actually weighed in together as Matchroom Boxing, the promoter of the event, has two scales on stage. Each fighter goes on one, and then the weight goes up on the screen. Rodriguez weighed 114.8 pounds and Cafu came in at the championship weight of 115. An intense staredown ensued for a moment before both guys split off.

A lot is on the line for Rodriguez (21-0, 14 KOs). He's got a chance to add another belt to his collection, but then he's got another fight lined up iif he wins for Night of Champions on Nov. 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in another unification clash, this time it would be with WBA titleholder Fernando Martinez. Despite there being another big fight looming on the horizon, Rodriguez is feeling no pressure. Just another day at the office.

"There’s never no pressure to me, Rodriguez told DAZN's Todd Grisham. "This is what I do. It’s my job. I’ve been doing it since I was nine years old. It’s just another day in the office tomorrow night."

For Cafu (11-0-3, 8 KOs), this is a chance to come over from South Africa and show the boxing world what he's all about. Cafu has no doubt he can beat Rodriguez but feels a stoppage is the only way to pull off the upset in Rodriguez's home state.

"I believe I can beat everyone," Cafu said. "Obviously, I know it’s going to be hard for me to get a decision here. That’s why I’m coming for Bam’s head. I've got to make sure I stalk him."
