Keyshawn Davis names the huge Jake Paul fight that he thinks will be good for boxing

Rumours of a fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis continue to move around the boxing industry , and one fighter believes it is a contest that is good for the sport. 

Keyshawn Davis returns to action this weekend as he defends his world title against Edwin De Los Santos and he will be aiming to win in style. 

Davis has proved himself to be one of Amercian boxing’s brightest hopes and he can enahance that status this weekend when he competes in Virginia. 

One target for Davis is a showdown with the man who shares his surname, and he has recently been speaking about the Baltimore man. 

Earlier this year, Gervonta endured the first dent on his record when he was held to a surprising draw with Lamont Roach .

The pair have been speculated to meet again tgis summer, but there are also talks that Davis will meet Jake Paul this November. 

How that fight will look considering the huge size difference between the pair is still unknown, but Davis has stated that the bout will perform well at the bx office and give boxing some commercial appeal. 

"At the end of the day, man, we've been doing this for so long, we're in a position where we need to do what we want to do," said Davis when speaking to Ariel Helwani. 

"We've been doing this for a long time, taking punches for a long time. It's not easy to go in there in front of millions of people and take punches. [Tank] earned the right to do what he wants to do.  

“Outside of that, he and Jake Paul are going to bring so [many] eyes on the sport of boxing. I think it's good for boxing."
