Lewis Crocker vs Paddy Donovan II - Carl Frampton tips undercard stars for future titles

Carl Frampton believes both Pat Brown and Molly McCann could be in line for titles sooner rather than later, despite the pair's lack of professional action so far.

The pair are both in action on the undercard of Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan's IBF welterweight title fight at Belfast's Windsor Park, live Saturday on DAZN.

Brown, the former Team GB Olympian, contests his fourth pro fight against Austine Nnamdi, while ex-UFC star McCann makes her debut against Kate Radomska.

Despite the lack of action both have under their belts so far however, Frampton believes their pedigrees stands both in good stead to challenge for a major strap.

"Pat Brown, I think they're going to fast-track him for a title really soon," he told DZN News. "He's a small heavyweight fighting at cruiserweight. He's a nice big lad.

"Meatball [Molly McCann] as well, it was always good to watch her in the UFC. Knowing how good she is at boxing, I wouldn't be surprsied if she gets a world title."

Frampton, the last man to fight at Windsor Park, also tipped who else he expects to impress on the undercard, picking out a couple of local favourites in action too.

"I always love to watch Tyrone McKenna fight," he said. "He fights like he shouldn't fight. He could always make life a bit easier for himself, but he just loves to fight.

"That's exciting for the crowd. The Caoimhín Agyarko-Ishmael Davis fight is a good fight too, a real fifty-fifty, and I think that one could potentially steal the show."
