With 36 KOs between them from 44 combined bouts, there should be plenty of fireworks in the heavyweight clash between Jarrell Miller and Kingsley Ibeh and I don’t see it going the distance.

Miller has had his fair share of bad publicity due to failed drug tests but he has still only been beaten by Daniel Dubois and he was unlucky not to get the decision when drawing with Andy Ruiz last time out.

Ibeh has been stopped before, by Jared Anderson in 2021, and he could be worn down by the high work-rate of Miller.

Bruce Carrington to win by decision 5/6

Bruce ‘Shu Shu’ Carrington gets his long-awaited title shot when he faces Carlos Castro for the vacant WBC featherweight belt and he can grab the opportunity with both hands.

Castro is no pushover, as we saw when pushing Stephen Fulton to a split decision in September, but Carrington is a bright prospect and he can inflict a fourth career defeat on his opponent.

Carrington is fast, sharp and has a great all-round skillset, one that can see him be crowned champion here. However, he will do well to stop the Mexican and he may have to settle for a decision victory.

Shakur Stevenson to win by decision 4/9

Teofimo Lopez versus Shakur Stevenson is a superb matchup between two of America’s biggest stars.

Having beaten Vasiliy Lomachenko and Josh Taylor already, Lopez his brilliant on his day but he can blow hot and cold, whereas we know exactly what we’ll get from the brilliant Stevenson.

Already a three-weight world champion, he now bids to conquer a fourth division and he has the size to succeed at 140lbs.

His reflexes, hand speed and defence are second to none and the slick southpaw can box his way to a famous points victory.
