Lyndon Arthur looks to be in the best shape of his career ahead of his clash with Anthony Yarde, with Sunny Edwards suggesting their trilogy bout has driven him to new heights.

The pair meet on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn's blockbuster grudge match this weekend at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, live on DAZN PPV.

It marks the third showdown between the pair, with Arthur looking to bounce back from a fourth-round loss in their second encounter after he claimed the first on points in 2021.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN News before the pair step back into the ring together, Edwards disclosed that the moment of the occasion has provided greater fuel this time around.

"Honestly, I know it is said a lot of times, but I’ve never seen him with this much energy," he said. "I’ve never seen him looking in such good shape. He’s really confident.

"He’s been putting the work in. He’s been taking it very seriously, but he’s very relaxed, very nonchalant. I think it’s the trilogy with Yarde. He was really on it for the first one.

"He came away with the win. The second one, he went in with a different mindset, prepared differently and I think he was agitated a little by professional boxing at the time.

"He always expected a rematch, but he wanted it in Manchester, and there was no question that it was going to be in London. He didn’t get the best out of himself,

"But this time, he’s had a good camp. For a lot of his fights, he’s had six or seven weeks’ notice, but he’s had a good ten to twelve weeks for this. He’s ready to go."
