Moses Itauma is currently preparing for his next fight as he is getting ready to take on tough American, Jermaine Franklin, on January 24 in Manchester, live on DAZN.
The fast-rising heavyweight is on his way to becoming the new face of the heavyweight division and he can enhance those credentials with another impressive performance over Franklin at the start of next year.
Itauma has been earmarked for sporting success since making his professional debut, but a first round win over Dempsey McKean in 2024 elevated him up the rankings swiftly.
This past August, Itauma was expected to receive a stern examination against former world title challenger, Dillian Whyte.
With his professional career running smoothly so far, Itauma is yet to receive any punishment, but who does he consider the hardest puncher he has ever faced?
Itauma has sparred rounds with Fury and Joshua, but he has provided a surprising answer on which fighter had the most power when discussing the matter.
“Off the top of my head, you got this kid called Luka Pratljacic," said Itauma when speaking to The Ring.
"He's a Croatian guy. I think he's still an amateur; he might have had one fight as a pro. Honestly, getting hit by him, I felt like I was getting hit by a baseball bat.
"It wasn't even landing clean, and I was like, 'Someone check his gloves,' but he was wearing my gloves. His punches were very hard."
